Lumi consists of a breaker sensor device and mobile app. When you purchase a breaker sensor device, you'll also book an installation appointment with a technician. After the sensor is installed, you can start monitoring your energy usage right away.
Yes, definitely! The Lumi app is easy to use. The breaker sensor installation will be handled by a technician, and the mobile app does not require any technical knowledge.
Absolutely! With a Lumi subscription, you can check your real time energy usage, monitor your budget, and analyze historical energy consumption. Lumi gives you visibility into their energy usage and can help in reducing bills.
Lumi tracks two key types of data to help you better manage your energy use:
- Electricity consumption in kilowatt-hours (kWh)
- Electricity cost in Philippine pesos (PHP)
With these, you can monitor your household’s real-time energy usage, compare it against your monthly budget, analyze trends from past months, and get smart alerts and tips to save electricity and money.
Lumi uses the latest available energy prices to estimate your electricity costs — either from the current month or the previous month if current prices are not yet published. Once your breaker sensor is connected to the Lumi app, you’ll see two types of cost estimates on your Dashboard:
- Current time energy expense: This is the sum of all tariff components up to the current point.
- Projected cost: An estimate of your total cost for the full billing cycle, assuming your current usage pattern continues.
These insights help you stay on top of your energy spending and make smarter decisions throughout the month.
